We have an exciting role available for a Sales Specialist to join our expanding Brand. Your responsibilities will include leading and executing the Ridgeline New Zealand sales strategy and tactics.

Your responsibilities will include:
Reporting to an Australia-based General Manager, this is a key leadership role within the business and is responsible for Ridgeline's sales activations and brand-building
This will mean sales execution across all channels (Wholesale and Retail) and hence will drive sales and brand growth nationally. You will be responsible for driving the future strategic direction in conjunction with the current team.
Your role will be varied, challenging and key focus areas will include:
Managing South Island accounts personally through extensive travel
Creating and implementing strategies to achieve NZ market share growth
Building and maintaining client relationships - proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
Managing North Island sales through the Auckland-based sales rep
Your background ideally needs to come from National Account or Category Management role within the technical outdoor clothing market.
To be successful in the role:
You will demonstrate sound commercial acumen and communication skills, strong strategic planning ability, as well as utilising data and insights to build effective strategies and plans.
You will be good with numbers and have that unique blend of best practice corporate experience but also entrepreneurial flair to roll up your sleeves, go after opportunities, and sell.
You will have current, strong retailer relationships and a clear understanding of the key levers for retail success, and be able to demonstrate how to build mutually beneficial customer partnerships.
